Agent Settings: Name, Tone & Prompt
Configure how your AI Sales Agent presents itself and speaks to visitors.
Your agent is a member of your sales team — give it the right name, tone, and instructions. All of this lives in Settings in your dashboard.
Agent Name
The name your agent introduces itself with (shown in the widget chat). Pick something friendly and on-brand — many businesses use a human name to make the chat feel personal.
Agent Avatar
Upload an avatar picture for your agent — it is shown to your visitors in the chat widget header, next to your agent name and company name.
- Supported formats: PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF.
- Maximum size: 1 MB — keep it small so the widget loads fast for your visitors.
- If no avatar is uploaded, the widget shows a default robot icon.
Open Settings → Agent Avatar in your dashboard to upload or change the image, or press Remove to go back to the default icon. The widget header updates immediately.
Tone of Voice
Sets the agent’s communication style. Choose from presets like Professional, Friendly, Casual, or Persuasive, or combine them for a custom mix. The tone is applied every time the agent responds.
System Prompt
The system prompt is the agent’s core instruction — its sales script. Elvix pre-fills a proven default prompt that:
- Qualifies leads and handles objections with confidence.
- Uses only the conversion links you configured (never invents links).
- Collects contact details when no conversion link is available.
- Focuses on the unique value of your product and offers low-friction next steps.
You can edit the prompt freely and Reset to Default anytime. Write it in plain language — the agent follows it closely.
